Dr. Antonio C Buzaid did his Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at University of Arizona, and soon after became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at Yale University where he served as Medical Director of the Melanoma Unit and Co-director of the Lung Cancer Unit for 4 years. He subsequently went to MD Anderson Cancer Center as an Associate Professor and Medical Director of The Melanoma and Skin Center for 5 years. He then returned to Brazil and started the Oncology Center of the Hospital Sírio-Libanês where he served as Director for 12 years. Dr Buzaid is currently the General Director of the Centro Oncológico Antonio Ermírio de Moraes of the Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo, Brazil and in the period of 2015 to 2020, served as a Member of the Steering Committee, Oncology Center of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
